According to the Daily Times, the ongoing financial assistance of 100 dollars per family will continue for the next six months.

The government will also provide seeds and fertilizers to the farmers at the onset of the Rabbi season, the newspaper reported.

The government has also proposed to provide 50,000 rupees to each family for house-reconstruction. The aim is to complete the reconstruction phase before winter.

In a major decision, the government will divert all budgetary resources for rehabilitation purposes. The infrastructure is also set to be reconstructed.

According to UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Pakistan has received 291 million dollars in aid from the international community. (ANI)
